Activating Your Membership

Please activate your Zen Shiatsu Society Membership with a click. Please do this even if you are from one of the schools with automatic membership entitlement for its students.

As soon as your membership is activated we will send you your Certificate of Membership and the short, simple Insurance Application if needed.

We would very much appreciate a subscription donation: this is not a fixed sum, but an amount you can afford. You can send a cheque payable to the Zen Shiatsu Society, or ask us for a Bankers Order form so you can make a monthly contribution.

If you are a teacher or member of a school and would like automatic membership for your students please click to email us and tell us.

We welcome all members of the Zen Shiatsu community and believe we have something worthwhile to offer: support in your practical, personal and spiritual development.

Membership of the Zen Shiatsu Society

Membership of the Zen Shiatsu Society is open to Shiatsu Therapists/Practitioners with evidence of qualification to Shiatsu National Occupational Standard CNH13

Teachers (TZSS)
Teachers recognised by the membership as a Teacher of Zen Shiatsu: Teacher Member of the Zen Shiatsu Society: TZSS

Practitioners (PZSS/LicZS)
Practitioners licensed by three Teachers to practise Zen Shiatsu: Practitioner Member of the Zen Shiatsu Society: PZSS

Please Note: Teachers and Practitioners can apply for registration on the National Register of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council with a click here for the Request Form to print out, complete and return to the Zen Shiatsu Society to verify your membership.

Intermediate Practitioners (IZSS)
Intermediate Practitioners in further training and acknowledged by two Teachers to have attained Intermediate Level in Zen Shiatsu: IZSS

Junior Practitioners (JZSS)
Junior Practitioners in further training and certified by one Teacher to be competent in Practical Shiatsu: JZSS

Ordinary Members (MZSS)
Members associates and supporters of Zen Shiatsu including practitioners of other therapies: MZSS

Schools
Schools: supporting the Zen Shiatsu Society
